Lesa Cline-Ransome  is the author of many books for young readers, including Finding Langston, Germs: Fact and Fiction, Friends and Foes, Light in the Darkness, Before She Was Harriet, and Whale Trails: Before and Now which was a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of the Year, and which Kirkus praised as “an inventive look at maritime history” in a starred review.
